One steel first aid box. 176 triangles. One 128×128 texture. One material.

Built to the constraints a PlayStation would have enforced — flat shading, no smoothing groups, a single unfiltered atlas, and a silhouette chunky enough to read at 320×240 across a dark room.

The lid is a separate object on the hinge axis. The latch hasp sits on its own pivot, so it flips out of the way before the lid moves. The gauze roll is a separate mesh, so it can leave the box and end up in someone's hand. The whole rig is two rotations — no bones, no blend shapes, no constraints. It's a hinge, not a puzzle.

What's in the box

  • SM_Medkit_PSX.fbx — body + hinge + catch, lid + handle on the hinge pivot, hasp on its own pivot, 9 sockets
  • SM_Bandage_PSX.fbx — gauze roll with a loose tail, 3 sockets
  • T_Medkit_PSX.png — 128×128 atlas: enamel, bare steel, blued hardware, dark interior, gauze

Sockets

Every empty is named SOCKET_* and exports as a plain GameObject. Local forward is the working direction, local up is the box axis — attach to a bone and nothing needs rotating by hand.
